Conclusion & Open Questions

IN AN INFORMAL way, The Awakening shows the existence of The Awakening Process in our life, which could extend far beyond the limit of our short life ! ...




Why informal ?

BECAUSE WHEN talking in the language of Science today, we have to define ... everything ! That is, all languages have to be well-defined ! But many famous people are still fighting each other about what the meaning of Consciousness, Awareness, Awakened ... And I am not in state to battle about what ... Awareness is, for example ...
And I also do not want to be very busy with terminology ...

AND ALTHOUGH I did read and understand a lot of publications from Thich Nhat Hanh, Narada Thera, Dennis Genpo Merzel ... , I never had the honour to be a student of any of them. So, I can not say anything in the name of Buddhism ...
Therefore, the best way is informal... talking.

ANY WAY, the recognition of mental states as Processes ( I am ... That ! ) is for me like thunder in the middle of the night ! It opens for us a window of Science into the most abstract object as far as we know : the incredible abstract, Mind !
( Still there are quarrellings about the "abstract" Mind, publicatioins stated that the Amazon Rainforest is more complex then the abstract Mind is... The Reading Corner)

ALONG OUR LIFE , processes are created and destroyed continuously, alongside with some predefined processes. That makes our life more colorful with Happiness, Unhappiness, Sorrows, Satisfactions... In fact, the whole world around us is recognised within the context of Space and Time and defined by those processes.
And the whole "The Buddha's Teaching" is to destroy these processes from our life , liberate us from the world of Imagination in the domain of Mind ...

PERHAPS we could never fully understand the complex Mind, but by recognizing mental states as Processes, our Life is no longer a mystery ...
As a result of this, the "Awakening" also shows the Scientific Nature of Buddhism !
Since this is a scientific fact, everyone could practise Meditation, and everyone could enjoy Life in Full Awareness, no matter what you are, that is, no matter what religion you are, where are you from , no matter you believe in God or not and even no matter you believe in the Buddha or not ...
Another way of speaking, The Buddha Nature is always within each of us ...

PERHAPS The Buddha did not have enough tools to show us what he understood in light of Science (The Science of Awakening ), thousands of years ago. Also perhaps he did not want to be very busy with strange languages, simply because Buddhism is not merely for some intelligensia, it is a religion for every simple man : he did not need to show the working of our brain but to free us from the Imagination of The Thinking Mind, to be in the true Happiness...

Clearly we do not have to be as far as The Buddha or some Holy people. What we do need today is a greater understanding of our Life in a Scientific way, to enjoy Life AS IT IS...




FOR PEOPLE who are interested in Science, there remain so many unanswered questions ...

THOUGHT : What is "Thought" ? Is it merely an unending loop of Silence, watching for the interpretation of askings from processes ? ...

THE WITNESS : What happens in our brain unnoticely when watching an event, for example, reading a book or watching a television ?

DYNAMICALY DEFINED PARALLEL PROCESSING BRAIN : So far, the most striking aspect distinguishing the working of our brain and That of man-made computer today are clearly dynamic and recursive behaviour.
But how are they exactly ?

PRIORITY SCHEME : Distributing jobs to processes in Computers are still one of the major topic in Computer Science today. Clearly our brain is not of unlimited power ...
So, what happens in the so-called Parallel Processing Brain ? Is there somekind of Priority Scheme ?

AWARENESS : Is Awareness also a process ?
If it is, it is probably "The" interface between Inner Space and Outside world, that is, it is The Interface between our senses and inner processes !
So, what is the relation and operation between Awareness and other "high ends" ?
And what is the background of "Multiple Personalities" problem ? is it a system of multiple Awareness Processes, that is , multiple copies of Awareness Process with the same memory-accesses and the same functionalities ?
if so, why do they have very different behaviours ? ...

THE HUMAIN BOTTLE-NECK : Except some body with Multiple Personalities problem, we are normally identiied as One "personality". That is , to the outside world, we are a hierarchically defined system .
How is this hierarchical system imposed on the undelaying Parallel Processing System ?

The HUMAIN INFORMATION PROCESSING : What define Information saving and retrieving in humain body ( algorithms ), and what for parameters define its behaviour ( executions ) ...

CHALLENGE OF THE CENTURY : Today, many people are very busy with the question whether or not we are computers and whether or not we could simulate the working of our brain .
Because Computer is just a name, Digital Signal is merely one way of communication, and Turing machine is also one way of definition, we do not care whether we Are computers ...

THESE ARE some of very big, very very big Questions, perhaps we could never get the answers within one lifetime ! But for many questions, we could perhaps somehow understand in many different ways .
Perhaps there are already some answers somewhere else in the world today.
And perhaps some answers are already somehow explained in Buddhism or other religions...
The problem is : they do not talk the same languages as Science today ...

Even if there are something many call "SOUL", they are also some elements in the Universum, and so, there always exist some rules they have obey. That is , they are not from the thin air and disappear into ... thin air again. So if they exist, some rules for them have to be found somedays ...
I DO NOT intend to find the Answers, simply because they are clearly out of my ability ... I am merely someone seeking for the Truth, to the true Happiness , for my Happiness right now, in This very present moment ...
BUT CLEARLY, it is very very interesting to know those Questions, because they ARE THE Open Questions of Human Being, and the Answers have certainly to be found some day in future ( not by Me, ofcourse ) ...






So, what I am going to do is trying to enjoy maginficent Life in Time and Space, today ...

IN FACT, every object that we could identify, i.e, we could say what it is in some way, is cleary within the domain of Mind. And because it is within the domain of Mind, it could never be more complex or more abstract then Mind ...

So, are there any object outside the domain of Mind ? or put it in another way : is the whole Universe within the domain of Mind?

This could also be considered as Unanswered Question ...
That is , as long as we could not show the whole Universe is within the domain of Mind, we have to assume there are infinitely many objects outside the domain of Mind ! That is, we have to assume there are infinitely many objects that we could never know their existence ...

I am always looking for publications and websites about the same subject, in many different aspects : brain science, mind study, robot simulation ... . If you know some references about this, please, tell me ! ...
